AbstractThis research is conducted on the relationships between the scope management activities, time management activities, cost management activities and quality management activities of the contractors and the performance of the construction projects in Yangon, Myanmar. This research is comprised of two phases, qualitative and quantitative phase. The scope management activities of the contractors are initially analyzed in the case study phase. Moreover, the important activities of time, cost, quality management activities are analyzed in similar case of that phase. The scope management activities of the contractors can be categorized into three groups such as scope reviewing, scope delivering and scope change control activities during the construction stage of the project. These groups are mainly concerned with the working processes of the contractors who are managing to deliver the scope of work within constraints of the project. In addition, the performance of the project can be defined as the time, cost and quality performance. In order to improve the performance of the project, the contractors should be complete the process of scope, time, cost and quality management activities properly during the construction stage of the project.
