AbstractNowadays, there are numerous construction companies around the Myanmar. Some small construction companies do not even have engineers. To improve company competency for a small company, YZW need a lot of factors to accomplish. This study focusses not only on the knowledge area of management such as time, cost and human resources but also on the process of marketing, tendering, construction, financing and purchasing of YZW Company. Engineers and project manager have enough skill for construction but they may have poor or lack of knowledge for marketing and financing. Digital marketing is cheap and it can reach to millions of people easily within a limited time. For company competency, construction projects of the company should be cheap and qualify within standards. Time and cost management are the main factors for YZW Company’s projects. Company should try to plan for the achievement of international certificate such as ISO 9001.Health and Safety is also essential part of the company to increase company competency and image.
