Abstract | Since 1993, the concept of e-commerce was introduced into China market, the
development of e-commerce growth rapidly in the decade. In 2002, China became the
second largest Internet market and the biggest mobile phone market in the world. It is
estimated that with China's entry to the WTO, its commitments to liberalization in the
telecommunication and financial services sectors will spur e-commerce development in
this country.
E-commerce is a revolution of the way to do business. Online shopping has been
becoming more and more popular in China's e-commerce segment. Retailers and
customers are joining in and enjoy the online shopping e-commerce business, especially
C2C online shopping e-commerce. Because of the improvement and maturing of the
environment, the transaction volume of China C2C e-commerce has quickly increased in
recent years, in which the development was the most rapid one.
This paper is aimed to figure out the situation of China e-commerce and identify the key
issue emerged in C2C online shopping environment. It will provide C2C online shopping
web sites operators with the customers' perspective and give suggestion to these
operators to improve their business. |
