Abstract | Safety Management in Maintenance of hydropower plant is very important and necessary to implement for the person who works and the equipment itself in power plant. A continual improvement of Safety Management in Maintenance of hydropower plant is good for the person and equipment and also for the longer life of the human and environment. This report analyzes the strengths and weaknesses of the existing Safety Management in Maintenance of hydropower plant for more development in the future by taking corrective action started from this power plant to another infrastructure project site. In this hydropower plant, there are many dangerous work areas with moving equipment, rotating equipment and lived electrical equipment which can be caused accident/incident to the person who is touching them to do maintenance work if necessary and accident/incident can be occurred without touching anyways such as switch yard equipment, high voltage switch gear and maintenance transformer. Therefore, management of the power plant have to control to use the Safety Management effectively and for continual improvement of human life and environment. Therefore, Safety Management is very important for all power plants. In Myanmar, some power plants do not have the SMS system and still, occurrence of the accident in power plant is serious to the person and equipment if it has occurred. Therefore, all power plant need to implement the SMS system to be the safe life of the human for the present and for the future to be crate the more beautiful life without damages something. |
