AbstractThis study introduces and finds a solution for continuous flow shop scheduling problem of grease production at Additive and Petroleum Production Company. The problem is a continuous flow shop scheduling problem with a large number of jobs and machines. Basing on the real situation, this study focuses on developing a mathematical model for continuous flow shop scheduling problem and find an effective heuristic algorithm that can help solving the problem with the objective is to minimize the total flow time. The heuristic algorithm of Rajendran and Chaudhuri (1993) has been chosen and applied here in this thesis. A computer program written in Visual C++ has also been developed for the selected algorithm. Data of 3 years are collected from the APP Company to verify the program.
