AbstractElectronic mail, called e-mail shortly, is the very essential application of the Internet. E-mail has become critical of the Internet world as well as global economic. It becomes one major part of the Internet. It is a main medium for communication on the Internet. The E-mail transports not only the text message but also many kinds of nontext, including embedded formats or attachment files. However, the unsolicited commercial e-mail (spam) is the number one threat to the use of e-mail. It is also the hot topic in the messaging industry. Because of annoying and harmful effects of spam e-mail, there are many techniques and methods in term of technology as well as social laws. These methods include: improving the filters based on Bayesian, using blacklist or white list, etc, safe list. However, most of these methods are filtering functions, preventing spam e-mail or blocking e-mail from mail servers, which exists in the blacklist of the receiving mail server. Every time somebody creates another filter, spammers just find another way to get through the filter. They do not offer the effective ways to prevent the spam e-mails and its domain spoofing or not. Hence, a new SMTP model is a need to the mail user in order to know that e-mail is trustable or not and there is domain spoofing or phishing or not. The objective of the study is presenting a model for verifying e-mail. By this verification, the system can detect domain spoofing and reject that e-mail. The received e-mails are trustable.
