| Abstract | The trading floor... Before this internship, I was dreaming of these words without having visited a trading floor but how did it work? What are the different jobs? And what is the function of a strategist'? Through my eight month professional experience on the trading floor of HSBC CCF. I can now give a more precise answer to these questions. At first, this report aims at clearing up the different commonplaces which are typical of the trading floor through an objective description. Then, I describe the function and a typical day of a strategist. Lastly. I will analyse a problematic which strikes me during my internship: the foreign exchange market. |
