Abstract | This study aimed at applying Remote Sensing and Geographic Information System as tools for spatial data analysis and field survey methods toward the zoning and management of land use in tambon Bang Khunsai, Phetchaburi, Thailand. In Remote Sensing , aerial photograph taken in 1994 and 2002 were interpreted to detect changing in land use and land cover pattern of the study area. The field survey was conducted to validation of land use data and collect the ground control points for image rectification. Spatial data at level was generated by using RS and GIS technology. The integration of spatial data and socio_ economic information was analyst to find out the natural resource and environmental impact in the area. The study mention about the influencing factors to farmers decision- making to change the previous activities in their land. Finally , introduce the appropriate zoning and sustainable management in natural resource in study area. |
