Abstract | This study provides a fast, accurate and in expensive way of off-line automatic verification of CNC program generated by a post processor and determines the possible collisions that may occur during the execution of NC program. The study also provides an interactive way of conecting the enors found in the NC program. A graphical simulation approach is implemented. The CNC machine is modeled by the solids in AutoCAD 2000. The simulation is done by transferring the solid model according to the G-code instructions of the NC program by using the Visual Basic programming language. The collisions are detected by using the AutoCAD method of"Check Interference" with in the Visual Basic program. The developed algorithm is specific for the MAHO 600E five axes CNC machine. It has a capability of converting into a program that can be used for any five axis CNC milling machine. |
