AbstractRisk Management is a perception which becomes very popular in developing countries. Most companies in developing countries establish a risk management procedure in their projects for improving their performances and increase the benefits. Reducing risks associated must be a major purpose for every project managers. Infrastructure sector in Myanmar has been growing up to very rapid after 1988. Most projects have been implemented in the limited construction period and budget. This leads to risky problems. This case study emphasized to analyze that most of risks happened in this bridge construction project. And it is also illustrated the strength and weakness of this project due to past experiences. This thesis proposed to apply risk management for future bridges in Myanmar.
