Abstract | The purpose of this project was to re-design an existing process to drive efficiencies through the system and be a pre-cursor to a possible organization-wide culture-shift. The project was aimed at re-designing a process in a manner that would not just challenge existing norms, remove redundancies, free up resource time, automate large parts of a process, improve process control while removing existing manual control points, but to be a test for large change projects in the future. The process taken into consideration is the “Public Training Process” that is critical to the overall training organization. Training & Organization Development department wish to change the existing process. It is well understood that part of the change will impact various parts of the organization. However, the department wishes to look at the possibility of making the process, more efficient and effective while being a testing ground for acceptability of change by employees and departments concerned. |
