| Abstract | The ongoing development of the company in recent years shows that the business strategy of the
company keeps pace with the market growth. The company's growth in recent years also has
showed weaknesses in the management of human resources, especially in employee training
activities.
In the early years of establishment, for the purpose of revenue and profits, etc. the training was
not paid attention to, when the company size has enlarged, business activities have grown, the
company therefore found that the human resources is the key point to get the success in the
future and the significant investment for training activities required.
This study is to analyze the current training activities to find out the problems and to propose the
solutions to improve the training activities to meet the development requirement.
The employee survey of staff at Nam Thinh Corp. was conducted to investigate their ideas about
training and development practices. The survey includes questions about needs assessment,
training design, their implementation and evaluation in the company’s practice last year. Fortythree
respondents participated in the survey. From the survey, the researcher found out
constraints in the practice that need to be improved to have better training and development
practice for the coming years. In fact, analyzing the current training situation helps the company
to identify the key issues to improve effectiveness in the training activities in order to provide the
appropriate training courses with high quality for all employees. |
