AbstractThe business competition in Vietnam has intensified nationwide, especially after Vietnam joined WTO in 2007. In an instant, a trend of high competitive pressure and globalization, all enterprises have no other choice but focusing on four important components: - The Quality of goods and services; - The Cost of producing goods and services; - The Speed with which products and services are brought to market; - Innovation in the development of new products and services; To improve the above-mentioned four components, enterprises need to trade-off carefully between short-term benefits and R&D (research and development) long-term strategy. To improve product/service quality as well as the speed of new products and services brought to IT market, there is no other way but to keep consistent commitment on a long-term road, and possibly having to sacrifice immediate benefits.
