Abstract | The construction industry in recent years is seen to be highly competitive, fierce and dynamic, to remain exist and progressive in such environment construction companies need to be aggressive in term of getting business. So each construction company needs to see the important of marketing and business development. Dong Nai construction and transportation Company is a join stock company, it is a subsidiary of Sonadezi group which is operating in construction field, special in road and bridge. It was established in 1977 with experience of thirty three years of operation. From 1977 to 2005 When Dotranco was controlled by the government, it was developing rapidly in both of its business and revenue but from 2005 up to now Dotranco has meet with lots of difficult issues. The research analyses the SWOT of Dotranco and its strategy find out the problems and the main causes of the limited issues and then give solutions to increase the competitive advantage of Dotranco in the new stage and competitive economic. This research is focus on construction activity of Dotranco. From the study and analysis, Dotranco recognizes the existing main problems such as: the descent of brand, the lack of marketing strategy, low morale on staffs and officials, limited capabilities of construction field, the lack of talent officers and ineffective Organization structure. From the main cause analysis that leads to recommendation that branding is the key tool to help Dotranco competes in the fiercely competitive environment effectively. |
