| Abstract | Every time visiting to any manufacturing plan or Construction site, in visible place, there is always a slogan “Safety first”. For every company, to reach the proposed aim, there are four balls which need to consider: Output, quality, management and safety. These four balls have the same meanings on purpose of company’s development. The difference of these balls is first three balls are made from rubber while the last ball is made from crystal. It means that once it had broken, we cannot recover the form which is used to be.
The Joint Venture Vietsovpetro, an Oil & Gas Exploration and Production Company, has always concerned about fourth ball from beginning of its existing. In recent years, the quantity of incidents in Vietsovpetro Petroleum Services Port has been increased. This Case Research will analyze the reasons that have caused the increase of the quantity of incidents in Vietsovpetro Petroleum Services Port. The main factors analyzed in this research are related to the current procedure, characteristics of Vietsovpetro, the functional department and their activities that are currently being implemented at Vietsovpetro. And more important, the Case Research also proposed the solutions to improve health, safety and environment performance in Vietsovpetro Petroleum Services Port in particular, and in overall Vietsovpetro in general. |
