AbstractThe efficient use of energy is increasingly playing a vital role in the production and life of humans. The irrational exploitation of energy resources and wasteful energy use pushed this valuable resource at risk of depletion. Furthermore, it also causes significant losses to profitability of business by the payable fees for the use of energy resources at unnecessary times, or using with a surplus. Therefore, using energy rationally and effectively has become a common concern, as well as one of the major challenges for businesses. In Vietnam, the Law on Energy efficiency and conservation was issued by the National Assembly on June 17, 2010. As such, the using energy sparingly and efficiently is not only from demand up optimization of the business but also as evidence of corporate compliance with the law requirements. So, what business can do for maximum efficiency by bringing energy resources without causing waste? In this research, the current situation of energy use and evaluates the energy efficiency in production of VICEM BUTSON is analyzed. The research then identifies the problems of energy management and determines the causes of the issues. The research also provides some solutions and recommendations to improve energy management in production of VICEM BUTSON.
