Abstract | Vinacomin - Coal Import Export joint stock Company (Coalimex) is one of the effective subsidiaries of Vietnam National Coal, Mineral Industries Holding Corporation Limited (Vinacomin). Its core business is exporting coal and importing material equipment for domestic orders, especially for companies in coal industry. Within the scope and limitation of this thesis, the author only tries to study and analyze the role of after-sales in equipment import activity and give some assessments and recommendations for this issue. Being working for Coalimex for more than four years and being sent to this iEMBA program by the company and Vinacomin, I wish to do something in order to contribute to the company. That is one of the reasons of choosing this topic. After-sales service is an issue that is still quite new with Vietnamese enterprises. So far, there is little research to this activity. Thus, the author hopes the data collected in this thesis may benefit the company as well as others by giving some new ideas and valuable suggestions. I attended class on subject: “Case research practicum” presented by Dr. Winai Wongsurawat. From his lectures and guidelines to my case research, I am confident that this project is feasible when finalized. |
