Abstract | The research suggests some solutions to improve the current situation of cross cultural communication in multi-national enterprises in Hanoi. In part, the work focus on the current situation of cross cultural communications, the problems that staffs at multi-national companies has to face and suggest some methods to improve the current situation. Several methods have been employed to obtain the targets of this research. A questionnaire survey was used to get opinions from staffs, an in-depth interview was to get the opinions of the managers in multi-national companies and variety of information from books and internet were also used in this research. Problems in languages and culture are the main obstacles that staffs in these companies have to face. From the results of the questionnaire survey and in-depth interviews, the author has a view of current situation in these companies. Based on that, the author gives some recommendations to improve the situation. |
