| Abstract | Nowadays, health and safety management plays an important part in construction projects because risks and accidents occurring during construction cause a lot of damages and cost a lot. In order to carry out a construction project safely and effectively, we need to have a health and safety management plan. A well -designed safety management system can help to reduce injuries and illnesses and prevent risks and hazards. In addition, a good management system can improve productivity and project quality. In this research, I would like to introduce the theory of health and safety management in construction and the advantages and disadvantages in implementing safety management in construction sites. A case study of Kien Giang Vocational College that is introduced in this final report is based on the real project in Kien Giang. I will summarize the project information and present the safety management during the project implementation, identify and analyze the safety matters happened in applying safety management in construction project and propose the effective solutions to improve health and safety performance in construction project in the future |
