Abstract | The positive economic situation of Vietnam in 2010 provides the management team of
MVN with exciting opportunities to critically review all areas of its current operational
activities in order to adjust and adapt to the growth of the business. Brainstorming sessions
are organized from time to time among MVN management team to identify and evaluate
the pros and cons of expanding the current manufacturing facility to meet the increasing
demand in the market and on the other hand, to grasp the opportunity for the company to
gain more market shares.
The company has implemented a numbers of conducts on market analysis, customer
satisfaction, competitor analysis. SWOT analysis of the company is carried out and
different scenarios of expansions are also outlined to evaluate the feasibility of the project.
Based on the outcomes of these analyses and surveys, the research will be concluded with
the process and the outcome of the operation expansion decision of the management team
of MVN in opening up a new manufacturing facility to cope with the growth strategy of
the company itself as well as the Mainetti group in global scale. |
