AbstractConstruction industry is one of the crucial sectors in e very country which is a primary sector in successful economy and high growth rate. Besides these advantages, construction industry is going through many consequences due to its unique, dynamic and temporary nature. O ne of the major problem that every count ry is ultimately facing is accidents/hazards at construction site due to lack of safety . A literature review was first made to identify and categorize the factors influencing safety governance. Through a quantitative approach a questionnaire survey of 150 respondents was conducted. The first objecti ve is to identify the factors influencing safety governance . Second objective is to analyze the constructs of safety governance factors in construction industry . Data analysis is done using Exploratory Factor Ana lysis (EFA) which is used to interpret the constructs, followed with Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) to confirm the model. Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) is used to analyze the relationship between the safety governance factors and their impact on safety performance.
