AbstractNature tourism has become one of the great source of economic development of the countries blessed with an abundance of nature. Bangladesh is also interlude in the current development trend. And, Lawachara National Park(LNP) protected area happening to be one of the top most popular tourist destinations. The main aim of this to assess the relationship between natural resources and ecosystem of the Lawachara National Park and tourism development. To achieve that current development trend of the places of attraction, impacts of tourism on the area combine with future development trend and responses needed have been considered. From that observation and visual survey data, GPS and RS data, visitor and key informant perception data analysis has been to determine the change occurred in the LNP. Results and analysis suggest that resource effects are widespread and extreme throughout the area, is more intense in vicinity of attraction sites. Tourists interacting with resource conditions during their hike and urban development penetration the protected area buffer zone. Inside the park area tourists are damaging park property, trespassing to unauthorized territory and disturbing wildlife. On the other hand, urban penetration is spreading from the west side of the park area buffer zone, because tourist demand. This research has formulated a methodology for identifying and assessing this kind of issues. Also, overall the work represents an advancement to streng then present park management and protected area
