Abstract | The goal of this thesis is to study the improvement of machinability of the Aluminum with the assistance of electricity. The process performance of milling on depth of cut and feed rate was determined. Minitab software was used to obtain the best cutting condition with a minimal number of experiments. In these experiments, cutting speed, feed rate, cutting tool material, depth of cut and the current were found to affect the specimen surface roughness. Then, the optimized values of all parameters were obtained. |
