AbstractIn implementing EPCI (Engineering, Proc urement, Construction, Installation and Commissioning) projects to build platforms (wellhead platforms, CPP- Central Processing Platform), other facilities of o il and gas industry, planning and controlling project activities and progress is area of utmost important and prerequisite for project success. Vietnamese Contractors have been implementing projects in oil and gas in the last 20 years, and in field of building offshore platform s and facilities of this industry in the last 10 years. Plan and Control of oil and gas offshore facility projects in Vietnam started from almost zero, with almost neither experience nor knowledge background to be seen in teaching of domestic educational organizations. Through such years, local companies and contractors in this field have been le arning from clients who were international operators in the same industry, gaining experiences in the works, and building by themselves system of Plan and Control of project implementation. In this report, the following major points which are prevailing and being accepted by international clients, are built in system, summarized and focused: - Complete standard norm database to be put into use of building Plan and Control of project. - Application of techniques and tools with use of modern software of Primavera in Plan and Control. - Systemization of Plan and Control in project implementation.
