| Abstract | Agricultural SME needs e - Business to improve their business. There are some benefits of adoption the e - business to small medium enterprise. Some benefits are perceived to r educ e cost, increase t he number of customer, and improve service levels. However, there are some reasons of the S ME for not using the e - business . SMEs in agriculture was chosen to be the focus of this study because it dominates in Indonesia . T his research study focuses to find out the drivers and barriers of the e - business adoption. By using a case study of Indonesia, interview to the agricultural SME was cond ucted to gain the most influential factor s . Based on research findings, framework based on balance scorecard to adopt the e - business was built that are in four perspectives of balance scorecard; financial perspectives, customer per spectives, internal business process perspectives and learn and growth perspective . The framework built will give recommendation to the agricultural SME to adopt the e - business. In order t o illustrate the framework, one of the SME is selected to illustrate how framework will help the agricultural SME to adopt the e - business. T his study provides to help the SME to adopt the e - Business. |
