Abstract | Peer researchers finding technique helps to find potential researchers for collaboration and benchmarking purpose. Publications of a researcher can be analyzed to find inter- est and involvement of the researcher. We have used text based publication analysis technique to find peer researchers and potential candidates to hire in a research team. Co-authors are most probable matching peer researchers; however, there are instances where other researchers are better matching peers than co-authors. Peer researchers and potential candidates for a research team are identified using publication based interest overlap analysis. We have developed a novel scoring technique to find interest overlap. Our system helps to find potential candidates for a research team. Similarly, Senior and young researchers can be identified using candidate identification technique. This research provides novel algorithms for finding peer researchers and potential candidates to hire in a research team.Result of our system is useful for both academic and research communities. Expert judgment has been used for the evaluation of our system. |
