AbstractIndia have few concentrated states like Hyderabad, Delhi, Kolkata, Bangalore, Mumbai, Aurangabad to which the large number people migra te from different parts of country and also from other countries for diffe rent reasons like employment, business , travel and many other reasons so t he most necessary aspect is accommodation so the demand of housing is very high. So the situation is favorable for all the small and medium construction firms and concentrate on housing project but because of improper project execution the projects are get ting delay in terms of schedule, over budget and also customer dissatisfaction. So this r esearch recommend the strategy called project governance so that the organization can mitigate the above issues like behind schedule, over budget and customer dissat isfaction by implementing the strategy. This research describes the concept of project governance and also its execution in real projects, finally it shows how effectively project governance works in real project to increase the awareness to the organizations to start implementing project governance.
