AbstractBuilding Information Modelling created a paradigm shiftin terms of creating digital collaboration and inception of common data environmentintothe Construction Industrywhich was historically known for its silo based culture and heavy resistance for the modernization. However, most of BIM process and technology improvements are confined in the digitalization of the design phase of the project life cycle and restricted to the off-sitecomputers. Soin this thesis a virtual augmented reality application is builtfor bringing the collaboration between off-site and on-siteduring the planning and construction phase, whichvisualizes construction updates to project team members such as time, cost, qualityand safetyinformationin relation with BIM 3D modelin mobile.ArchiCAD and Unity 3D wereused in designing of the BIM model and Mobile Application Interfacein which five C# programming componentswere written. These are modulated intoUnity 3Dwhich performthe parsingof the CSV file from the MS Projectin which the construction information was simulated based on the activities.Google Cardboard and Vuforia SDK were also addedas third party extension in unity 3D which were used to create a virtual walkthrough and Augmentationof the Building Modelon the design plansKeywords Building Information Modelling, Construction Management,4D Simulation, VirtualReality, Augmented Reality, Unity3D
