Abstract | In construction industry, safety is the most prioritized and critical factor. However, to make every construction worker of the site to follow the safety rules and regulations exactly is very challenging matter. In human based organization , worker partici p ation should be implemented by voluntarily. I n this study, safety practices of the construction workers a re examined from the point of their job satisfaction and stress. T h erefore, in this research, employee ’ s job satisfaction, stress and their safety p ractices are discussed. T he respondents in this study are mainly focused on construction workers. T he data are collected i n three differ ent projects f rom three companies in Yangon City, Myanmar. T he respondents are asked to answer the questionnaires concerned with job satisfaction, stress and th eir safety practices. In this study, the factors affecting job satisfaction and stress of construction workers are examined. T he factors are also ranked according to their mean scores. Moreover, the relationship s betwee n job satisfaction, stress and safety practices of the construction workers are also investigated. T he corr elation method is applied to find out the re lationsh ips b etween variables. ANOVA test is also carried out as an additional analysis. |
