| Abstract | Theprimary objectivesof this thesis areto compareenergy use pattern, financial analysis, totalGHG emissionsand eco-efficiencybetweenRCN, RSRI and ICN.The results hadbeen showed that the amount of total energy input of ICN accounted for 17326.9±2452.2 MJ/ha wassignificantly highestcompared toRCN and RSRI. However, itwas observed that the energy input fromhuman labor forRSRI was significantlyhigher about 10 times compared toICN. The net returnof RSRI accounted for 1134.3±422.9 USD/hawas significantlyhighestcompared to RCN and ICN. This was because RSRI spent the lowestexpense cost while the yieldof RSRI and ICN were 4.0±1.4 and4.3±0.5t/harespectivelywere not significant difference. On the other wards,RCN got lowest yield 1.8±0.7 t/ha andlowestnet return as well. The total GHG emissions of ICN accounted for 2.76±0.58 tCO2eq/ha weresignificantly higher thanRCN accounted for 1.46±0.48 tCO2eq/ha and RSRI accounted for 1.37±0.48tCO2eq/ha. The eco-efficiency of RSRI accounted for 885.9±373.3USD/tCO2eq/ha was significantly highestcompared toRCN andICN. RSRI provided a highest net returncompared to environmental damage. Therefore, amongthe three systems RSRI was promoted as the best agricultural sustainability to economic and environment. |
