AbstractThe objective of this study was to assess the impact of tourism on the Fishing Village, to find out the real life of local people. Determine the involvement of local people in tourism development, to find out the gap of skills, community capacity, cultural preservation and environment. Finally, the solutions proposed, to meet the needs of tourism development in the future. This study found a solution for a win - win of Fishing Village and tourism development, a case study Ham Ninh commune, Phu Quoc Island. It focuses on the community Fishing Village they live in the Rach Ham canals. This study used a research method designed mixture by quantitative data and qualitative. Use this questionnaire will ask for each object In fact, they want to be involved in sharing the benefits of tourism development in their community. They found that their income clearly improved through tourism activities bring, as well as cultural preservation and natural heritage of the Ham Ninh commune . While some of the gaps that people need to be improved. First, it shows that a number of restrictions on participation, the capacity of community and the preparation of plans for tourism development.
