Abstract | Contract Administration and Management is a crucial and important part to implement the construction projects successfully. A systematic and standardized Contract can easily be carried out the projects without delay or cost over-run within required period. Japan International Cooperation Agency(JICA) used the international practices in Contract Administration for ODA funded projects which are implementing in Myanmar. Ministry of Construction (MOC) served as an Owner as well as regulatory body for infrastructure development projects which are being implemented by ODA fund. In these case studies, we can be learnt not only the useful and effective Contract Management Practices in JICA-ODA projects but also the strength & weakness of local construction companies so that it might be a good chance to develop the Construction Industry in terms of Contract Administration and Project Management practices |
