Abstract | Myanmar is a developing country and it has been trying her best to build her economy. The construction sector in Myanmar is growing up to very fast after 1988. All the projects had to be completed in the influence of limited construction period and budget. And thus it has caused poor quality problems. One of the most critical factors causing poor quality is lack of quality system. This case study is to analyze the importance of quality management in bridge construction project within specific construction period and specified budget and discussed about project performance with applying quality management system. The report also describes the strength and weakness of the project. According to the practice process, the report proposed to apply quality management system to all constructors and contractors for future development of infrastructure in Myanmar. Moreover, some recommendations were suggested to improve Construction Industry for Myanmar |
