AbstractThe existing problems of project management unit for all projects funded by World Bank was found by researchers as well as the difference between the guidelines of sponsors and Law of Vietnam in implementation process of project. Project's success will be evaluated based on reaching the quality, the effec tive cost and the schedule within available budget and meet requirements of satisfaction for the Client. That means bound the organizations to enhance its project management capacity and understood the requirements of World Bank in implementation process o f projects. Therefore, Therefore, it is necessary for evaluation of project management capacity which is exceedingly important to identify the project is completed well or not. This thesis was prepared to research and review the competence of project man agement unit in order to evaluate for the existing key issues of project management unit (hereinafter “the Project Management Unit for Construction Investment Projects, Using Official Assistant Development Fund, Can Tho City”) in project implementation pro cess. Simultaneously, the thesis also provided to improve and recommend for Project management unit to reach the strengthening and management capacity in the future.
