Abstract | As a developing country, Vietnam has been invested heavily not only by the State but also by the society in the field of construction with the goal of implementing industrialization, modernization and development of the country. Investment in techn ical infrastructure, transportation, industrial, urban, cultural and tourism for over 10 years have increased in number. However, not along with the development, the construction quality right from the building process has exposed the weaknesses in the sta ges of management, scientific and technical level as well as experiences, skills of the labor. As a result, there are many buildings do not meet the required quality, the damaged works immediately after being put into use, even the building collapsed causi ng major damage socio - economic as well as health and life of humans and adversely affect the environment. Construction works are complex products, created by many different human activities associated with a wide variety of construction materials and equi pment. To achieve the quality in construction, it requires the parties involved in construction activities must be knowledgeable and seriously satisfies the given requirements, avoiding the occurrence of quality problems. This research focuses on the prob lem of quality has occurred in a number of construction projects in Vietnam. Identify the factors causing quality problems of these projects and compare with the theory of quality management. Type of the research projects is different, including: project c onstruction of water supply systems, hospital construction project, construction project of new urban, construction project of highway. Thereby it can be seen that the quality problems can occur in any construction projects if the implementation of quality requirements can not be guaranteed. |
