Abstract | In the current period, Vietnam's economy despite there are many difficulties, the government has recognized that poor infrastructure is one of the main reasons hampering the economy. From that realization, in recent years the government has focused investment in building a lot of infrastructure all regions of country. hese large - scale projects such as Vo Van Kiet – Ho Chi Minh city avenue, Saigon tunnel, North - South Expressway, the Can Tho Bridge, etc has brought tremendous efficiency for particular localities and the country in general. The fact that because infrastructure projects have increasingly large - scale should require institutions participating in the project include Project Management Broads, Consultants, Contractors, Suppliers, etc must have the capacity and expertise to be able to meet its assigned tasks. In that, Project Management Unit (PMU) s a unit representing for investors, and play an important role in coordinating all activities of the project.
