Abstract | Cost escalation is occurred not only in the developed country but also in the developed country . The main reasons are unprofessional owner/developer, consultants as well as the inflation of the market . Therefore the project ’s cost, which occurred from the feasibility study, schematics design, and design development to completion, is changed by many factors . It is no down that to discard the risk of cost escalation is impossible. But It is manageable can be minimized, transferred or retained. There are few methods for risk management such as minimizing, moving, concentrating invalidating the minus effect or engrossing them. From the risk management point of view, cost escalation risk takes on the determinate work and involved parties need to brave with a lot of conflict s if those element s are not countered and worked out before the agreement is signalized. In order to maintain the project’s feasibleness and efficiency of the project, the negative of cost overrun need to be controlled. Therefore the cost management, identification, analysis, evaluation and control, have to appreciate and apply early, actively and continuously from the start to the end of project’s cycle |
