Abstract | In construction industry, contract document is a contractual commitment, guidelines that every involved parties or individuals must comply. Contract management is a backbone activity through project life cycle. It impacts mainly to accomplishment of the entire project. Because contract management involves many parties such as Contractor, its subcontractors or its suppliers, Architecture and Engineering Design consultant, who are not only from a local area but also from multiple countries, contract management must follow international standard, procedures, general rules and common practices. Hence, studying how current iiipractice contract management at real construction projects and comparing that practice with available theory will be useful activity to address gaps and improvement opportunities for construction industry, especially in Vietnam.This report is focusing on actual contract management, implemented at Jabil Vietnam project in 2011-2012. The studying sphere also included applicable theory, which relating to construction contract management; to analyze strength, weakness of the real project.
