AbstractContract management is very necessary for construction project in every phase from design until project close out. The suitable contract management is vitally important to make sure the success or failure of any construction project. In recent years, there are some new types of projects such as Design - Build, EPC (Engineering - Pro cure ment - Construction), Turnkey, etc that have seen rapid growth and being a popular system in public sector. However, each of them has some advantages and disadvantages by themselves. Generally, it is related to funding from where to choose project delivery system. In this case, budget from state fundings, so it is normally to select Design - Bid - Build delivery method to do. Nowaday, most of projects that are behind schedule, exceeding estimation or chang e order/design are also very common. These problems made the management of project get more difficult, especially the project contract management in Design - Bid - Build delivery method. T his report arms to decrease or avoid delay, cost overruns and change design/order when implementing the project from sta rt to finish. I t is essential to have knowledge, understanding in contract management and strong communication skill. The objective of this study intends to assist the process of project contract management in Design - Bid - Build construction project of C antho In - service University Training Center . Another duty of this report is to remark that Designer shall foresee relatively accuracy anything can happen in future that help Owner a void claims or disputes during project management in which regarding to pro ject contract management. In addition, Contractor shall give up manner of offering low price to win bid package. It is a very risky game for Contractor if Government has no any legal documents to sup port for adjusting fluctuations that is a new point for a ll parties to add in contract term.
