| Abstract | An integrated system, called INFORSAL, has been developed for salinity forecasting in the Mekong Delta. It combines two existing models, namely MEKSAL and HYBRID, into a comprehensive scheme where both numerical simulation and statistical approach are used. The system is interactive and very users-friendly. It has simplified the forecasting activities by providing a dialogue system by which the user can enter the information required easily. Simple applications are given for illustrative purpose and for demonstrating its use. |
